A help assistant for Multimat.tv

Multimat.tv streams Brazilian jiu-jitsu competitions in multiplex. On competition days, the same questions keep coming back: is it free, where are the replays, why is the screen black. I built an assistant that answers them on the spot, with no support-tool subscription and without handing visitors' data to a third party.

A floating button opens a chat. The assistant answers from an FAQ that I manage in the site's admin. If it hesitates between several answers, it offers a choice. If it finds nothing, it shows a contact form inside the conversation, and I receive the message by e-mail along with the whole exchange.

The search uses no language model: it compares words while tolerating accents, plurals, typos and rephrasings. "C'est payant ?" and "is it free" lead to the same answer, which I control word for word.

Questions left unanswered are ranked by frequency in the admin, and one click turns any of them into a new FAQ entry.

My constraints: nothing loads before the button is clicked, no added cookie, spam protection without a captcha, keyboard navigation, dark mode, French and English.
