Frame an event before, judge it after
After an event, the first question is almost always the same: “Did it go well? ”. We answer it with an impression. The room was full, people looked happy. It's nice to hear, but it doesn't say if the event was useful.
The problem is played out before. If the objective has not been written, there is nothing to compare the result to, and the balance is limited to the number of participants and the budget spent.
I added a fifth tool to the Tools page for this. It fills up in two stages. Before the event: the one-sentence objective, the target audience, the criteria for success and the position budget. After: the balance, measured against this objective, with the cost per participant.
Everything takes a quarter of an hour and is printed on a page, or is saved in PDF. A fictional example is proposed to see the result before entering anything. As with the other tools, nothing is sent: your entries remain in your browser.
